Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Wolk en Draad ([to be added: legal name of the business], [to be added: registered address]) about using the Prismay app and this website. By using Prismay you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
What Prismay is
Prismay suggests places, events, tours and things to do at home, picked for the mood you choose. It is free, has no ads and needs no account. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering the app; if we stop, we will say so in the app or on this site first where we can.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, use Prismay with a parent's or guardian's permission. Suggestions for people under 18 leave out bars, clubs and alcoholic drinks, but we can't guarantee that every listing from other services is suitable.
Not medical or wellbeing advice
Prismay is not a medical, mental-health or therapy service, and nothing in it is medical, psychological or professional advice. Mood check-ins and insights are a personal diary, not a diagnosis. If you are struggling or in danger, contact a doctor, a local helpline or your emergency number.
AI-generated text can be wrong
The short "why this fits your mood" lines are written by AI models (see the privacy policy for which ones) and are labelled "AI-generated". They can be wrong, out of date or unsuitable, and they are not advice. Use "Report this text" under a line to tell us about a bad one.
Listings, opening hours and bookings
- Places, events, tours, films, recipes and other content come from other services (such as OpenStreetMap, Ticketmaster, Viator, Skiddle, TMDB and YouTube). We don't check them, and details such as opening hours, prices, availability and age limits can be wrong or change. Check with the venue or provider before you go.
- Some cards are marked "Sample". They are examples shown when live listings are not available, not real offers.
- Tickets, tours and bookings are sold by the provider (for example Ticketmaster, Viator or Skiddle), not by us. Your contract, payment, cancellation and refund rights are with that provider, under its terms. We are not a party to it.
- Commission: some booking and ticket links are affiliate links. If you book through one, the provider may pay us a commission. It does not change your price, and it does not affect which suggestions you see.
Using it fairly
Please don't:
- break the law, or use Prismay to harm or harass anyone;
- scrape, overload, probe or attack our server or the services behind it, or get around rate limits or security;
- copy, resell or republish listings, AI text or other content from the app as your own service;
- reverse engineer the app, except as far as the law allows you to (for example, to make it work with other software);
- join the waitlist for someone else without their permission.
Your data and your backup
There are no accounts. Your data is on your phone, and in an end-to-end encrypted backup only if you turn Backup on. You are responsible for keeping your 24-word recovery phrase safe: we never see it and cannot recover it for you, so without it a backup cannot be restored. We delete backups that have not been updated for 90 days.
Ours and theirs
The app, its design and its own text belong to Wolk en Draad. Listings, images, ratings and other content from other services belong to those services or their contributors (for example © OpenStreetMap contributors) and are shown under their terms. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app for your own, non-commercial use. On iPhone, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: delete your data (Settings › Danger zone › Delete my data) and uninstall the app. We may block access to our server for anyone who breaks these terms, for example by attacking it.
Our responsibility to you
- Prismay is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that any suggestion is suitable for you.
- We are not responsible for what other services provide or for anything that happens at a venue, event or tour, or under a booking you make with a provider.
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss of data you could have protected (for example by keeping your recovery phrase).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Please contact us first at contact@prismay.app: most problems can be solved quickly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app changes or the law requires it. We change the date at the top, and for significant changes we tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Prismay after that, the new terms apply.
