Contact us
Email contact@prismay.app, or in the app use Settings › About › Send Feedback. We usually answer within a few working days. Please don't send us your recovery phrase or your mood notes: we never need them.

Deleting your data
There are no accounts, so everything is done in the app:
- Delete everything (your backup on our server and all data on your phone): Settings › Danger zone › Delete my data.
- Delete only the backup: Settings › Backup › Delete my backup, or turn Backup off and choose to delete the server copy too.
- Clear only this phone and keep the backup: Settings › Danger zone › Reset everything.
- Before you uninstall, delete your backup. Uninstalling removes the data on your phone, but our server cannot tell that the app was removed. A backup nobody deletes is removed automatically 90 days after its last update.
- Lost your phone? We cannot find your backup from an email, because we don't know who you are. Either restore it on a new phone with your recovery phrase and delete it there, or let it expire: it is deleted automatically 90 days after its last update.
To take a copy first: Settings › Privacy › Export my data. More detail is in the privacy policy.
Backup and your recovery phrase
- Backup is off until you turn it on in Settings › Backup. It is end-to-end encrypted: we can't read it.
- Your 24-word recovery phrase is the key to your backup. Find it in Settings › Backup › Show recovery phrase (your phone asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode first). Write it down and keep it somewhere safe and offline.
- New phone or reinstall: install Prismay, open Settings › Backup › Restore from recovery phrase and type the 24 words. The app finds your backup and checks the phrase opens it.
- Without the phrase, a backup cannot be restored, by you or by us. We never see the phrase and cannot reset it.
App lock
Settings › App lock locks Prismay with Face ID, Touch ID or your phone's passcode when you come back to it. On Android, while App lock is on, the app also blocks screenshots and hides its content in the recent-apps screen.
Location
Prismay needs a location to suggest things nearby, but not your GPS. If you don't want to share it, decline the permission and search for a place or type coordinates instead (during setup, or later in Settings › Change Location). Location is used only while you use the app, never in the background.
Known limits
- Live listings are best in larger cities. Where a service has no listings, you may see cards marked "Sample": examples, not real offers.
- Opening hours, prices and event details come from other services and can be out of date. Check with the venue before you go.
- The "why this fits your mood" lines are AI-generated and can be wrong. Use "Report this text" under a line to flag one.
- The app is in English.
- Suggestions you have already loaded stay available offline; new ones need a connection.
- Crash reports help us fix problems. You can turn them off in Settings › Privacy › Share usage data and crash reports.
Not medical advice
Prismay is not a health or therapy service. If you are struggling or in danger, contact a doctor, a local helpline or your emergency number.
